"Mr Och & His Root Boys"- popped up in 2001 and became one of the most popular live bands in Kyiv, playing high-energy rockabilly and singing in American English, pulling in a multifaceted audience that consists of everyone from bank workers to prostitutes to teenagers. Right now the band is supporting its new album "Dig That Roots". In own repertoire, they perfectly manage to combine classical musical compositions 40s-50s years with modern lines of styles: "country", "rockabilly", "bluegrass", "jazz" and "rock". Professional level of musicians was repeatedly marked by musical critics, and colleagues on a scene. Legendary event in the history of group: joint performance with Robert Plant in Kiev art-club "44" in 2003.
